Session overview
Are you writing your assignments and need to find academic literature to support your arguments? Did you attend Library sessions when you started your course but cannot remember how to search Library databases effectively? Feeling swamped by Google Scholar results? This session is for you. Scopus is one of our top recommended databases to search for academic literature in your subject area. We will be looking at how to create a search string to find relevant papers to your topic by searching in Scopus.
Who should participate
This session is aimed at Masters students who need to find academic literature for their assignments. It does not go into the depth needed for systemic literature searching at PhD level.

This sessions aims to:

- How to use keywords to create an effective search
