Most MSc students at Cranfield will complete an Individual Research Project (IRP) in which they undertake original research in a relevant industrial or research area and write a thesis following the standard IMRAD-model (Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion).
This aim of this thesis-writing course is to provide students the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the language, content and structure of an IRP. We will explore the role and requirements of each main chapter and identify key linguistic and structural considerations. This course is divided into five sessions: (1) Introduction (2) Literature Review (3) Method (4) Results & Discussion (5) Conclusion & Abstract.
The workshop is offered as an online webinar. Webinar joining instructions are normally sent a few days in advance of the session.
