Writing skills 5: Applying the 3 key tenses in academic writing Online

Online workshop: Academic English is no-one’s first language. It is a language that takes time to learn and develop. The aim of this suite of workshops is to revise key skills and topics related to academic writing that you will need to succeed.

There are 6 sessions in this suite of workshops.

  • 2. Making your sentences flow
  • 3. Making your paragraphs flow
  • 4. Structuring text logically
  • 5. Applying the three key tenses in academic writing 
  • 6. Tips and strategies for revising your writing

The workshops are offered as face-to-face sessions or as online webinars. You do not need to attend both. Webinar joining instructions are normally uploaded directly to your Outlook calendar on acceptance of a place.

Interactive workshop with PowerPoint presentation and group and individual exercises.

This session will be repeated at various times during the academic year. In accordance with our standard booking conditions, charges apply for late cancellations and non-attendance at all or part of a face-to-face workshop but not for a webinar.
