Getting started with Zotero (Lunch+Learn) Online
Join our online session on Zotero, a free reference manager that helps you store and organise your references. It offers many useful features, including the ability to read, highlight, and annotate PDFs, as well as create in-text citations and reference lists.

Zotero is reference management software which will help you to:
- Keep your references in order – you can create collections and tags for specific topics.
- Annotate and classify your references.
- Provide a searchable library of your PDFs.
- Create your reference lists in line with various citation styles, including APA7 Author-Date and Cranfield Numbered referencing styles, as well as many other styles.
Specific features of Zotero which make it popular among academics are:
- A Zotero Connector plugin which can be added to your browser to enable search results to be easily imported from websites and databases, including PDFs where available.
- The option to drag and drop documents into your library.
